My alarm goes off around 3AM. Once I get to work, I touch up for camera, put on my mic and IFB set and start on a bowl of fruit. There’s usually some combo of banana, kiwi, blueberries, strawberries, apple or oranges. Obviously, any fruit will do. READ MORE

ReplyDeleteThe reason they don't use her more is because she is a horrible reporter!!! She was on the live Moody Gardens special with Frank and was stumbling like someone that should be reporting in Victoria!!! Hello, this is Houston!!! I'm not in tv, but I'm sure there are tons of women who have spent the last 10 years in smaller markets trying to become the best reporter possible. I guess they should be punished because they don't have fake boobs, wear ten tons of makeup or did not start their careers as a hawaiian tropic model!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat does any of that matter? Who said TV was fair? You'd be surprised who makes it/does not make it in the TV biz. This has been happening for decades. I'm not advocating the system...just being realistic.

ReplyDeleteIt matters because all the "buzz" there is about her comes from the fact that she turns men on and NOT HER TALENT!!! Do you think if she got on the air in sweats, her hair pulled back, and not a stitch of makeup on, she would be getting any press or be where she is? If you had a daughter would you want her to be adored for what she "appears" to look like, or who she really is?
No I wouldn't. Honestly I can't even comment on her because I have not watched that morning show since the 90s.

I'm just glad we have someone pretty to look at in the mornings. I've seen her other talents(Impressed). Too bad I play the 5th...I would rather see Jenn do the traffic than see Mike wearing a tight sweater showing off his toe at 2 if you know what I mean..Ha.Ha..If Jenn gets fired I'll stop watching for sure, period.

I've always known women hate her and men adore her. I felt bad for her because I know how it feels to be hated and judged solely because of your looks. So as a younger girl than her, I admired her. I tried adding her on Facebook and she declined. However, all my male buddies add her and she accepts them! What is up with that?! Now I know why women hate her, they must feel the sleaziness. Or what else could you call it? Geez, Jennifer! Come on!!

ReplyDeletePoor ol' Anonomous. Fact is, you'll never have a chance in Hades with her, so you're running her down. Jennifer's a beautiful young lady, who just happens to do a darn good job of reporting traffic. It's great to catch her report in the morning before leaving for work. Not only am I fully informed, I'm wide awake as well!! Channel 2 needs to double your salary Jennifer!!
