I went to Dallas this weekend and heard that D Magazine profiled KTVT CBS 11's newest anchor, Scott Sams. Heck, I used to watch him on WFAA Channel 8 back when that station was a powerhouse. The good old days.Sams was let go from WFAA and then went to work at KTEN, the NBC affiliate in Sherman, Texas. That is quite a large fall for someone in Dallas TV. Must have been quite a blow for someone who was known as an ego.
Now he is back in Dallas at KTVT. His story is one of humility and redemption. If you work in the media, it is a must read.
