If you saw the movie Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgandy with Will Ferrell, then you will love this. It appears to be a real TV promo for the Fox station WCCB-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In the "Wonderful World of Weather!!" the station's meteorologists climb into a hot air balloon and take to the sky. Their appearance causes great love and cheer across the viewing area. In fact the promo clearly shows two men stop fighting at the site of the "weather" balloon!
This is not something you normally see on TV anymore. I felt like I was transported back to the 70's to Ron Burgandy's San Diego.
Not a stranger to thinking way outside of the box, this Fox station formerly employed Mark Mathis, The Wacky Weather Guy, to stand in front of the green screen. If you haven't seen his act then get to it.
