"Mattress Mac" Jim McInvale gets a lot of media attention, but you wouldn't think that would include MTV. But here I am, watching the old Music (wink, wink) Television when I see a promo for Jamie Kennedy's Blowin' Up, and Mattress Mac is right there with him.
Kennedy used to have a WB show, he's been in some movies and now he has a mockumentary TV show about becoming a rapper. He is always meeting rap stars while trying to break into the biz.
Besides Mattress Mac, we also catch a glimpse of the famous grillz of Houston's own Paul Wall in the promo. Guess Kennedy is in town for Wall and they have to go buy some furniture, but they don't want back, back, back, back order slips while busting some rhymes. That would be whack.
The show should be real "dope." See it Tuesday night at 9:30 CST on MTV if you are a real playa.
