Telemundo Houston launches new 30-minute program with Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

Houston, TX — June 9, 2026 — Telemundo Houston / KTMD today announced the expansion of its longstanding partnership with the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, marked by the launch of a new 30-minute Spanish-language television program, Conversaciones con Dra. Murillo, hosted by the Chamber’s President & CEO, Dr. Laura Murillo.

The new program, which will be produced in collaboration with the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, will spotlight the achievements, contributions, and impact of Hispanic businesses, leaders, and communities across the Greater Houston area. The 30-minute program will air the last Sunday of the month at 5:30am on Telemundo Houston. It premieres June 25, 2026.

As part of this expanded collaboration, Dr. Murillo will serve as the program’s Founding Executive Producer and Host, bringing her extensive leadership experience and deep ties within the Hispanic business community to television audiences.

The program will be filmed in-studio at Telemundo Houston and will feature interviews, panel discussions, and in-depth storytelling focused on business development, leadership, economic opportunity, and community impact.

The launch of the program aligns with a pivotal moment for Telemundo, as the network prepares to deliver comprehensive Spanish-language coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, reinforcing its role as a leading voice for Hispanic audiences in the United States.
