Julie Fife announced she is leaving her FOX 4 KDFW Dallas-Fort Worth meteorologist position on Tuesday.
Here is what Fife posted on social:
"Tomorrow will be my last day on Fox 4. What an honor it has been to work alongside legends in this industry that I’ve looked up to for so many years. Thank you DFW for welcoming me into your homes. It’s been a blast and a dream come true for this Texas girl. Stay tuned"
Let me tell you, from my anecdotal perspective, Fife is so popular I can tell when she was doing a weather on air weather segment based on my blog traffic! I am not joking.
Now, here is what others might not tell you. From what I was told, Fife was in DFW on a short-term contract, which has apparently ended.

As Fife leaves, another meteorologist returns to FOX 4. The recently retired Evan Andrews returned for the holiday season to fill in for the vacationing Ali Turiano.
It was made clear on social media that Fife is best friends with ABC News (former FOX 4) anchor Hannah Battah.
Fife joined KDFW in August 2025 after leaving FOX13 Memphis, WHBQ in the spring where she had worked since February 2023. She seemingly took over for Dylan Federico, who left.
Before joining FOX13 Memphis, Fife worked as a traffic anchor at KDFW from January 2018 to January 2019.
Fife holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin. While at UT Austin, she was a member of the Spirit Squad.
She later pursued her meteorology credentials at Mississippi State University, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Meteorology in August 2022.
Before TV, Fife was a contestant on Season 14 of the CMT reality TV show "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team." She was later a Dallas Mavericks Dancer.
