Taylor Alanis joined KXAN Austin Investigates as a multimedia journalist in September 2025.
Here is what Alanis posted on social:
"I’m incredibly excited and honored to join their award winning and nationally recognized Investigatives team. There are so many things to say about the journey here and how fortunate I feel right now. Just the warm welcome and kind words I’ve received are overwhelming.
I’m beyond grateful for my eight years in the Coastal Bend. I’ll miss its people, including the friends who became family, and the beach! It’s a place that truly became my home and is full of countless memories I’ll hold closest to my heart.
This next chapter feels like one I’ve been waiting for my whole life and I am thankful for all of the love and support I’ve recieved along the way."
