HOUSTON, TX (Oct. 6, 2025) – Houston Public Media Foundation announced the appointment of new leadership and welcomed new members to its board of directors.
With his recent appointment as associate vice president and general manager of Houston Public Media, Joshua Adams will serve in a new ex officio role as a member of the board. Joining Adams as an ex officio member is Russell Dunlavy, vice president for university advancement at the University of Houston.
“It’s an honor to continue serving Houston Public Media, this team and this community,” said Board President John Bradshaw Jr. “While we are experiencing unprecedented challenges across the public media system, Houston Public Media remains steadfast in its mission to inform, educate and inspire the people of the Greater Houston area.”
Joining Bradshaw in leadership roles for the foundation are:
Michael Stewart, vice president/president-elect
Lee Entsminger, secretary
Brian Lee, engagement committee chair
Dennis Malloy, finance committee chair
Deidra Lane Smith, governance committee chair
The foundation board also welcomed new directors, Mark Cook and Barbara Samuels.
