93Q Houston KKBQ learned from country singer/songwriter Tucker Wetmore this morning that it has won the 2025 Country Music Association (CMA) Radio Station of the Year award in the Major Market category!
"I am so fortunate to work with our entire talented 93Q team," Travis Moon, Director of Operations for Radio-One Houston, told mikemcguff.com when the station was nominated. "They put their heart and passion into everything, and it’s such an honor to see their hard work recognized. Excited doesn’t even begin to cover it! LET'S GOOOO!!!"
Texas country radio was well represented in the 2025 CMA finalist list.
