Katelyn Maida, 93Q Houston KKBQ's The Q Morning Show co-host, was honored to be a guest announcer at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN, as part of the Opry 100, celebrating 100 years of the longest-running radio broadcast in U.S. history.
Maida took the stage this week with Opry members and country music icons Vince Gill, Jamey Johnson, Lorrie Morgan, and Pam Tillis.
Also serving as a guest announcer this summer was Bob Pickett of 98.1 KVET Austin.
The Grand Ole Opry showcases legendary artists and contemporary musicians who perform country, bluegrass, American folk, and gospel music, as well as comedic performances and skits. There have been more than 5,100 episodes as of June 2025.
It features a changing lineup of today’s country music stars, superstars, and rising stars all on one stage, every week in Nashville, reaching a global audience through WSM Radio, Sirius XM, and Circle Country.
