Spectrum Launches Spectrum Noticias, A New National Spanish-Language News Network

Local Spanish-language news bureaus established in Los Angeles, New York City, Texas and Florida

STAMFORD, Conn. – May 1, 2025 – Spectrum today announced the launch of Spectrum Noticias, a new national Spanish-language news network, bringing Spectrum News’ award-winning journalism to Spanish-speaking customers across the country. The network is available on Spectrum TV lineups across the Company’s 41-state service area. Additionally, local Spectrum Noticias news bureaus have been established in Los Angeles, New York City, Florida and Texas.

Spectrum Noticias features 24 hours of continuous Spanish-language news from journalists embedded in local communities and Washington D.C., delivering relevant stories from across the country. The network brings viewers continuous updates and live reporting on major events, comprehensive analysis of critical issues, weather forecasts, and reporting on stories that celebrate and explore Hispanic culture and heritage.

"Objective journalism is a key pillar of a democratic society and Spectrum News is at the forefront,” said Mike Bair, Executive Vice President, Spectrum Networks. "The launch of Spectrum Noticias underscores our dedication by expanding access to high-quality news programming and providing a trusted option to our Spanish-speaking viewers."

Spectrum Noticias’ weekday lineup begins with anchor Patsi Arias each morning, followed by afternoon news anchored by Philip Klint. Spanish-language news industry veteran María Rozman recently joined Spectrum News as Senior Director, News for Spectrum Noticias to lead editorial content for the network. A five-time Emmy Award winner who most recently served as news director for Telemundo in Atlanta, she brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles as programming director, executive producer, anchor and correspondent.

“In addition to our English-language networks, our launch of Spectrum Noticias brings Spectrum News’ brand of award-winning storytelling to an audience that prefers to watch their news in Spanish,” said Rozman. “With our team of journalists living in the communities we serve, we deliver reliable and balanced local, national and international news that is relevant to the Spanish-speaking community.”

Local Spanish-Language News Bureaus Established in Florida, Los Angeles, New York and Texas

In addition to the national news network, Spectrum Noticias has established local news bureaus in Florida, Los Angeles, New York and Texas, embedding reporters in communities with large Spanish-speaking populations. These reporters focus on news relevant to their respective markets, covering local politics, current events and stories that impact the Hispanic community. As a result, Spectrum Noticias viewers in these markets see additional local headlines every 30 minutes throughout the day.

Spectrum TV customers can watch Spectrum Noticias via their Spectrum TV lineup and should check local listings or visit the Spectrum Noticias website to confirm channel location. Additionally, Spectrum Noticias is available to all Spectrum customers via the Spectrum News App for mobile, Xumo Stream Box, Roku and Apple TV. Spectrum Noticias is available on the Basic, TV Select, TV Choice, Mi Plan Latino, Latino View and TV Stream Latino tiers of service.
