Shannon Ryan announced she has been added as an anchor to the 8am hour on ABC13+ Houston, the stream of KTRK.

"We’re expanding our 8 a.m. anchor line up @abc13houston — meaning you’ll be stuck with me a whole lot more on weekday mornings," Ryan posted. "See you same time, same place tomorrow!"
Ryan joined ABC13 in March 2023 from FOX 7 Austin KTBC, where she was a crime, courts, and investigative reporter for four years.
Previously, Ryan was an anchor/producer/multimedia journalist for DCW50 WDVM, Washington, D.C.
A Pennsylvania State University grad, Ryan interned for CBS News, FOX 29 News Philadelphia, WTXF, and WNYT Channel 13 Albany in New York.
