Houston, TX – May 28, 2025 – Graham Media Group has named Sean McLaughlin as Vice President and General Manager of KPRC 2 and Click2Houston.com, effective July 1, 2025. McLaughlin will continue in his current role as Vice President of News for Graham Media Group, leading news strategy across all seven stations.

With a distinguished career spanning both station-level and corporate leadership, McLaughlin will work closely with the station’s award-winning team to amplify its journalistic impact and deepen connections with its audience and community.

Since joining Graham Media Group in 2024 as VP of News, McLaughlin has worked relentlessly to reshape the company’s content strategy, always prioritizing the evolving needs of audiences and customers. In his expanded dual role, he will continue spearheading group-wide news initiatives while taking on the responsibilities of general manager, cementing his reputation as a local news innovator and industry disruptor.

McLaughlin, a Minnesota State University, Mankato graduate, began his career as a news reporter before advancing to news director roles in Springfield, Illinois, Tulsa, and St. Louis. He later became executive news director and creative services director at KMOV, then served as VP of Content and SVP of Local News at E.W. Scripps before joining Graham Media Group.
