When FOX 4 KDFW Dallas-Fort Worth reporter Amelia Jones went on her honeymoon, she probably did not think her trip to Rome would lead to witnessing the papal announcement of the first American Pope, Leo XIV, in St. Peter's Square.
"It was such an incredible experience to be in Rome when Pope Leo XIV was announced," Jones posted. "Pete and I are still in awe that we were there for the once-in-a-lifetime event and what a way to end our honeymoon! It’s great to be back home and I’m so glad I got to share the story of how the events unfolded last night on FOX4 at 9!"
