Don't mistake me for a real forecaster like our Houston TV meteorologists, but if I had to guess, one of my future goodbye posts could be for ABC13 KTRK's Elyse Smith as she heads to the big time!
Smith has only been at channel 13 since 2023, but since then, she's already filled in for ABC News in 2024.
Last week, she posted about training in New York City for anchoring and producing ABC network weather content. That included shadowing chief meteorologist and chief climate correspondent Ginger Zee!
