Kevin Ozebek is helping ABC7 Eyewitness News KABC Los Angeles cover the terrible wildfires Southern California is experiencing.
A Los Angeles TV viewer notified me late Wednesday that the ABC13 KTRK Houston investigative reporter was live from Studio City on LA's Channel 7.
This reporter sharing also happens when Hurricanes hit Houston. ABC will send journalists from its owned TV stations to help KTRK with coverage.
Ozebek joined ABC13 in 2023 from WSVN 7 Miami as Ted Oberg's replacement.
His former boss, Wendy Granato, is now president and general manager of KABC.
Other former Texan TV journalists now working for ABC7 LA include Niku Kazori, Irene Cruz, David González and Leticia Juarez.
