Joe Sayre, widely recognized as Colonel St. James from his days at the legendary 101 KLOL Houston and beyond, has passed away.
A 2009 inductee into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame, he was still on the air up until his final day, hosting the afternoon shift at Cypress Radio 103.5.
