Audacy’s Mix 96.5 (KHMX-FM) in Houston won three awards at OutSmart Magazine’s 27th Annual 'Gayest & Greatest Readers’ Choice Awards. Almost 100,000 votes were cast by the magazine’s readers, and Mix 96.5 won multiple categories.
Jessie Watt won Favorite Female Commercial-Radio Personality. Jay Michaels won Best Local LGBTQ Social Media Presence and tied for Favorite Male Commercial-Radio Personality. Michaels is also the first radio personality in the market to be nominated for non-radio categories.
The OutSmart Magazine Gayest & Greatest Readers’ Choice Awards celebrate Houston’s community and raise funds for the OutSmart Foundation, which supports LGBTQ News and Media in Houston.
