Eric Kelly left his FOX 44 KWKT Waco-Temple-Killeen sports director role and apparently TV in September 2024.
"Thank you to the coaches, fans, players and SIDs who I had the pleasure of interacting with during my time in Waco," Kelly posted on X. "Y'all made it a joy to come to work everyday."
Parker Rehm takes over for Kelly as sports director after working as weekend sports anchor. Kam Dyer joined the station as Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter from WCBI in Columbus, Mississippi.
Kelly previously worked for Nexstar Media Group sister station KAMC/KLBK Lubbock.
The University of Missouri grad also worked for the University of Houston athletic department as a video editor.
I want to congratulate Parker on the very deserved promotion. There's no one else I would want taking over that role.
