Kim Castro announced she is engaged. We even see a clip of the KHOU 11 Houston meteorologist's fiancé shoot on her Instagram account.
Just who is Castro's fiancé? We don't know his name yet, but I have received messages about her new engagement ring since October!
A commenter on Instagram said, "About time you announced it. That ring was blinding (with a laughing emoji)."
Castro joined KHOU 11 in 2021 from FOX 26 KMPH Fresno, California. The University of Arizona and Mississippi State University grad previously worked for KTVL Medford, Oregon.
She started providing Spanish-language weather forecasts after arriving in Houston.
At the end of 2023, Castro moved from weekend mornings to a Monday through Friday schedule with Shern-Min Chow at noon and on the 4 p.m. newscast on Thursday and Friday. Around the same time, she earned her Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association (NWA).
