FOX 4 KDFW Dallas - Fort Worth reporter Peyton Yager has a doggone good story for Thanksgiving this year.
Monday night, as she was about to go live for her story, a dog with a vest on walked up to her. The station reports that the dog was well-mannered and knew how to sit and shake.
The husky-heeler mixed dog had an embedded microchip, and Yager learned his name was "Rocket."
It turns out that the owner did not want Rocket back, but thanks to the reach of TV and social media, Rocket now has a new home in Plano!
