Briana Aldridge joined the CBS News Texas KTVT Dallas-Fort Worth sports department as an anchor/reporter in July 2024.
She came to Texas from the WKBW 7 Sports team, where she had been an anchor and MMJ since June 2022.
Before that, she worked as a weekend sports anchor for KOAA News 5 Colorado Springs, Colorado, and KATC TV3 Lafayette, Louisiana.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln grad started her career as a morning anchor for WTAP Parkersburg, West Virginia. She interned with WSB 2 Atlanta.
Aldridge went on to earn a Master's degree and a Ph.D. She also worked as an assistant professor at Erie Community College and an instructor for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Sports anchor Andy Adler left CBS News Texas earlier this year.
