Mo Haider joins abc13 KTRK in September 2024 as its a news reporter and sports anchor.
Here is a portion of what Haider wrote on Facebook:
"Throughout my career I’ve always heard there’s nothing like working in your hometown. After being away for nearly eleven years, I finally get a chance to experience that feeling.
I’m coming home!
I’m pleased to announce I’ve accepted an incredible opportunity as a news reporter & sports anchor for @abc13houston. It’s truly an honor to be part of our city’s legacy station, a place that’s been home to some of the most incredible journalists in the country, and a news organization that Houstonians have always trusted and relied on."
Haider, who comes from KOMO Seattle, where he has been a news reporter/fill-in anchor since 2021, is likely taking over the position left open by Adam Winkler.
Before Seattle, Haider worked as a:
- News Reporter WTVF NewsChannel 5 Nashville, Tennessee
- News Reporter/Producer/Anchor NBC 26 Green Bay, Wisconsin
- News Reporter News 13 KRQE Albuquerque, New Mexico
