Jonathan Mejia joined FOX 26 KRIV Houston as a reporter from KFOX14 - CBS4 KDBC El Paso, where he was a multi-media journalist (MMJ).
Mejia will make his on-air FOX 26 debut on Thursday, February 29, 2024 - a leap year memory for sure.

"I have all the feels but I’m ready to get to work and do great things in H-town," Mejia posted to Facebook. "I cannot thank God enough for this major leap in my career. At this moment I may not see or understand why but I know in due time God’s purpose will be revealed."
Mejia joined KFOX in January 2022.
Before his tenure at KFOX14, Mejia held the position of associate producer at Univision, where he contributed to prominent network programs such as "Al Punto con Jorge Ramos," "Despierta América" and Edición Digital. Additionally, he showcased his reporting skills at Fusion's UNews.
In July 2021, Mejia made the decision to resign from his role at Univision to undertake the filming of a documentary project spanning Mexico and Central America.
Before that, he was a writer for 7 News WHDH Boston.
According to his bio, a Boston native with roots in Honduras, Mejia embarked on his media career in 2018 as a Northeastern University student. After spending six months at CNBC, he interned with Univision.
