Gabby Hart announced she is leaving FOX 26 Houston KRIV to join Cleveland 19 News WOIO as an anchor/investigative reporter in September 2023.

Here is a portion of what Hart posted on social media:
"I am ELATED to be returning to The LAND as an Anchor/Investigative Reporter.
The goal was always to get the experience & skills I needed and then bring it back home. I’m ready to finally make an impact in the city that raised me.
I’m down to my final days in Houston, & then I’m coming home!"
Hart joined FOX 26 on September 27, 2021 as a general assignment reporter.
She recently revealed in a report how she was abandoned as a baby at Hobby Airport in 1989.
Before Houston, Hart worked as:
- a reporter for KSNV News 3 Las Vegas
- a reporter/producer for WAPT Channel 16 Jackson, Mississippi
- an assignment editor for News 5 Cleveland WEWS
The Cleveland State University graduate interned at WEWS.
