Former KPRC 2 anchor/reporter Brandon Walker and former abc13 anchor/reporter Brhe Berry (now called Brheanna Boudreaux) are joining the WWL 4 Eyewitness News New Orleans morning show as anchors.

Brandon Walker and Brheanna Boudreaux start at WWL New Orleans

The former Houston TV journalists debut on the TEGNA station with Eric Paulsen and Leslie Spoon starting October 16, 2023.

Both anchors left Houston TV near the beginning of 2023, Walker in March and Boudreaux in January.

Walker is no stranger to New Orleans, as he is from the historic Algiers neighborhood and graduated from St. Augustine High School. He even worked as an assignments editor during high school at WGNO ABC26 New Orleans.

Before leaving KPRC 2 Houston, Walker stepped into the role of interim 4pm anchor following Keith Garvin's shift to evenings when Kris Gutierrez unexpectedly departed and disappeared off to DFW.

The Emmy and Edward R. Murrow Award winner became a headline himself in January 2020 when he was struck by a truck while crossing the street. It was a Lamar High School student named Alex Park who came to Walker's aid after the accident, playing a crucial role in saving his life. For his heroic actions that night, Park was later honored with the Boy Scouts of America's Medal of Merit.

Following a period of surgery and recovery, Walker made his triumphant return to KPRC in March 2020.

Walker joined KPRC 2 in January 2015. Known for his exceptional storytelling skills, he even for a moment revived the legendary "Eyes of Texas" as a podcast.

Before joining KPRC, he served as a reporter and fill-in anchor at News 12 Connecticut and as bureau chief reporter/fill-in anchor for YNN Albany, New York.

During his pursuit of a master's degree at the Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism, the Carleton College graduate gained valuable experience as a CBS News broadcast associate working the national desk.

Boudreaux as Berry joined abc13 Houston KTRK in the spring of 2019, taking on roles as a reporter, traffic anchor/fill-in anchor.

Before her time in Houston, Boudreaux worked for WTKR News 3 Norfolk, Virginia, as an anchor/reporter/social media director. She also anchored for KELOLAND News KELO Sioux Falls, South Dakota and served as an anchor/reporter for News 10 KLFY Lafayette, Louisiana.

Growing up in a military family, the James Madison University grad was accustomed to frequent moves, spanning from Washington to Europe. She dedicated six years of her life to the Virginia Army National Guard and the Louisiana Army National Guard.

Boudreaux and her husband, Hunter, have three daughters ages three and under.
