Matt Lively left KCEN 6 Waco-Temple-Killeen in May 2023 and in June announced he is joining CBS News Bay Area KPIX San Francisco as a sports anchor/reporter.
Here is what Lively tweeted:
"For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to cover major teams in a historic sports city. I can’t wait to join the incredibly talented crew at [KPIX] as a sports anchor and reporter.

Lively was hired at KCEN 6 in January 2021 from 23ABC News KERO Bakersfield, California where he a weekend sports anchor/reporter.
Born and raised in Florida, Lively is a Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University grad.
