Jessica Willey, yet again, ran the Boston Marathon taking place this year on April 17, 2023.
It was a time of remembrance for the abc13 KTRK Houston reporter, who not only graduated from Boston University, but was also there covering the horrific bombings in 2013.
"10 years ago I was here in Boston covering the deadly bombings," Willey posted on Facebook ahead of the marathon. "What was supposed to be a day of joy and triumph was one of terror. Since then, I’ve been back twice to run and always think of the victims, survivors and their families. This year, there have been a number of memorials marking a decade and once again declaring Boston Strong."
So how did, Willey do in the 127th running of the Boston Marathon? She finished in 3:54:08.
Willey also ran the Boston Marathon in 2021 and qualified for it at the Chevron Houston Marathon in 2019.
