Hal Jay has had a rough 2023, but things are improving for the longtime WBAP 820 AM Dallas - Fort Worth morning radio show host as he is making an on-air return.
Jay started off the year needing a new heart.
By February, the DFW Metroplex radio legend and Texas Radio Hall of Fame inductee had his life-saving heart transplant.
WBAP issued the following tweet saying Jay will return to WBAP Morning News Monday, April 3, 2023.
A North Texas radio listener tells me the show has mentioned that Jay will work from home at first and then transition back to the studios.
