Chris Whited debuted as KLBK Lubbock's new morning and noon meteorologist on February 6, 2023.
The meteorologist joins anchor Sasha Wilson on KLBK's "Bright & Early" and "News at Noon."
He might be known by some of the Lubbock TV audience as a fill-in meteorologist, but he has been with the station for more than a decade as its off-air digital media coordinator.
Whited actually joined KLBK in March 2011 as a weekend meteorologist and weather producer, a job he held for three years until going to the digital side.
The Mississippi State University grad previously worked for KMID Midland-Odessa as a fill-in meteorologist, a morning meteorologist/news reporter for WTOK Meridian, MS and a weekend meteorologist/news reporter for KLST San Angelo.
