Dylan McKim has joined KXAN Austin from his weekend anchor/MMJ role for KVIA ABC-7 News El Paso and Las Cruces.

McKim's departure was featured on a KVIA newscast (embedded below) and from a tweet by his KVIA co-anchor Rosemary Montañez.
Samuel Harasimowicz will take McKim's anchor seat next to Montañez.
The native Houstonian joined KVIA in January 2021.
A graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, McKim interned with 12 News KPNX Phoenix. While in school, he also worked for Cronkite News, The Arizona Republic and Arizona PBS.
