Alberto Romero returns to FOX 4 KDFW after bad accident
In October 2022, the two-time combat veteran returned to the military world as a civilian meteorologist at Eglin Air Force Base in the western Florida Panhandle.
Romero joined FOX 4 back in 2018 from CBS19 KYTX Tyler. Before that, he worked for Texas Cable News in Dallas.
The Fossil Ridge High School grad joined the Air Force which gave him more than 80 semester hours of meteorological college credit.
After deployments to Afghanistan, Romero received an Honorable Discharge from the Air Force.
He went on to earn his degree from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Geoscience.
He interned at WFAA 8.
