Alex Cammarata was promoted to the NewsWest9 KWES 10pm anchor position August 22, 2022.
Cammarata joined KWES in August 2021 as a sports reporter/anchor.
The University of Scranton grad previously worked at the New York Post as a sports podcast associate producer and has done play-by-play work.
FUN FACT: Another Texas sports anchor that moved to the main anchor role was Ray Peters of News 25 KXXV Waco/Temple/Killeen.
