Tashara Parker, WFAA's Daybreak traffic reporter/anchor, just won D Magazine's best television news anchor in Dallas honors.
That's not all Parker is up to lately. She will also be featured as a speaker during Dallas Startup Week's Women of Innovation.
Dallas Startup Week is the largest conference in North Texas that brings together the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Women of Innovation will include a full day devoted to women disrupting the entrepreneurship scene.
I'm told Parker will speak August 10th, 2022.

Parker joined WFAA in 2019 from CBS 19 KYTX Tyler. According to her bio, Parker is recognized as the first black woman to anchor KTYTX's evening newscasts.
