Kaitlyn Karmout has left KXAN Austin and television news to become the corporate communications manager for Austin-based ESO which bills itself as the "largest software and data solutions provider to EMS agencies and fire departments."

Karmout joined KXAN Austin in October 2019 as the Williamson County reporter.
The Houston native got her broadcast start as a reporter/weather anchor at KNDU 25 Richland, Washington.
The University of Texas at Austin Moody College of Communication grad interned with News 4 San Antonio WOAI, KVUE Austin and Spectrum News Austin.
