93.7 The Beat KQBT’s presentation of Mostyn Law’s HeartBEAT of the Campus Awards recognized fifteen local students for their successes in the community, providing each with a $1,000 check in support of their further studies.
The students were feted at a special reception, hosted by Mostyn Law co-founder Amber Mostyn with The Beat’s midday host Ashlee Young as special guest.
As families, friends, and teachers looked on, Ashlee and Amber, known to station listeners for their shared presence in the law firm’s spots, presented each student with their checks.
“Partnering with Amber and Mostyn Law is a no brainer,” says Young. “They understand the needs of the Houston community, and we are honored to help execute this venture!”
An on-air campaign on 93.7 The Beat solicited nominations from listeners before a Mostyn Law review committee made the final selections. For fifteen days in March, one winner per day enjoyed the spotlight with an on-air salute from Ashlee during her show.
“Reading the nominations and learning about the accomplishments of these students was extremely inspirational and heartwarming for me and my team, “say Mostyn. “But the real thrill was actually meeting them and hearing their hopes and dreams in their own words.”
