Mary Lee signed off KPIX 5 mornings, officially on March 2, 2022, but announced during her goodbye she would still be around as a fill-in CBS San Francisco - Bay Area TV meteorologist.
Lee also made news earlier in 2022 when her boyfriend Ajit Ninan surprised her with a proposal on Valentine's Day at KPIX 5.
Lee joined KPIX 5 in February of 2018. The Bay Area native previously worked for KING 5 Seattle.
The reason I am writing about Lee on a Texas TV blog is because she also worked for KPRC 2 Houston and KXAN Austin.
Lee's first on air job was reporting for KHSL 12 Chico. Her first broadcasting job was as a writer for KOVR 13 Sacramento.
