Blake DeVine just joined KXAN Austin and tweeted about how he was in an "attempted attack" before his first live shot with the station.
"Was getting geared up for my first live shot with @KXAN_News before a homeless man in downtown Austin attempted to attack my photographer and I," DeVine described on Twitter. "Luckily we both got out of there safely (other than a few blood stains) but what a night to remember!"
DeVine came from Texas from KEYT NewsChannel 3, KKFX, KCOY Central Coast News Santa Barbara, California.
