Mike Lucas leaving KAGS College Station

Mike Lucas announced he is leaving KAGS Bryan - College Station where he was worked as a sports reporter since October 2018.

In April 2022, he announced that he moved to Cleveland and started working for a digital sports streaming show called the Ultimate Cleveland Sports.

Here is what Lucas tweeted in December 2021:

"It's been a helluva ride, Aggieland.

It's bittersweet to share that after 3 years, my time at KAGS is coming to an end and it's time to start my next chapter.

To the players, coaches, and families I've interacted with - I can't thank you enough for trusting me to tell your stories and for making this Jersey kid feel at home in Texas.

The Brazos Valley is a special place, but it's the people that have made my time here truly unforgettable.

I still have a few more stories up my sleeve before my last day on December 31st, so let's make these last two weeks great.

Thanks & gig 'em, Mike Lucas"

Before the Brazos Valley TV world, Lucas worked as a sports reporter, anchor and news reporter for News 5 WCYB/WEMT/CW4 Bristol, VA for three years.

The Emerson College grad interned at FOX 25 WFXT Boston.
