Laura Laughead announced she has been promoted to anchor for the KAMC Lubbock morning news.

Laughead joins CBS 42 WIAT Birmingham
"My big head and I are the new official anchor for @KAMCNews morning show Good Morning Lubbock," Laughead tweeted. "But it’s not to be confused with @TheMorningShow. A very different show indeed, but as you can see, I have made an appearance."
Laughead became the KAMC Lubbock Saturday 6pm/10pm anchor in September of 2020.
The University of Texas at Austin School of Journalism in the Moody College of Communication Valedictorian interned for Good Morning America, KEYE Austin, abc13 KTRK and KLRU Austin.
