Lisette Hernandez leaves KLST/KSAN San Angelo

Lisette Hernandez left her evening anchor position at KLST/KSAN San Angelo on October 1, 2021.

Here is part of what Hernandez posted on Instagram.

"After two years in the Concho Valley, I’m saying goodbye. I’m blessed to have began my career, fresh out of college here at KSAN in a place where the viewers and people welcomed and accepted me with a huge heart. I will forever be thankful to those who took a chance on me to have the opportunity to learn and grow in this industry and beautiful city. Thank you for allowing me to come into your homes every evening and always showing your unwavering support, it’s been the greatest privilege. Goodbyes are never easy but necessary, but I know it’s all apart of God’s work for me."

Hernandez started her broadcasting career professionally at KLST/KSAN in October 2019.

The Sam Houston State University grad, who was raised in San Antonio, interned at FOX 29 KABB/News 4 San Antonio WOAI and KPRC 2 Houston.

This might make music fans jealous.  As a channel 2 intern, Hernandez got to interview Travis Scott!

Like any good TV anchor, Hernandez teased us that she "can’t wait to share what’s next!!"

Stay tuned.

Below is Hernandez's emotional goodbye to the Concho Valley.
