Shardae LaRae announced she is the new morning news anchor for CBS19 KYTX in Tyler, Texas.
"I’m back on the morning news and this time a little closer to family and friends," LaRae tweeted. "I’m excited and extremely blessed to be able to continue my morning anchor journey at the CBS affiliate in Tyler."
LaRae previously worked at KAMR Amarillo as the co-anchor for "Today in Amarillo" and as an MMJ (multi-media journalist).
Before that, she was a digital multimedia journalist for 23ABC KERO Bakersfield, California and a news producer for NewsFix on KDAF 33 Dallas-Fort Worth.
The University of North Texas grad got her start with KNOE Monroe, LA as a producer.
