Isabell Michaels joins KRGV 5 Rio Grande Valley as a sports reporter.

"I’m SO excited & blessed to share that I’m officially a full-time sports reporter for @krgv.5 channel 5 news & hechos valle.
A big thank you to my new channel 5 family for trusting me to report sports and news to the Rio Grande Valley community in both English & Spanish!
1,500 miles from home, I packed up my life in two weeks and drove down to my new home to start a new chapter of my life here in Texas where I don’t know a single person. A chapter I’ve been working so hard for. A chapter I’m thrilled to start writing. Thank you to all my mentors, family and friends that have supported me to turn my vision & dreams into reality. It’s grind time."
Michaels has a Masters in Journalism from DePaul University.
