Hannah Rucker is leaving the KVUE Austin weekend morning anchor desk for weekday mornings.

Here is what Rucker posted on Facebook:
"I’m getting promoted to a Monday-Friday schedule! Every morning starting at 4:30-5 AM I’ll be anchoring the news, then 5:00-7:00 AM I’ll be doing news plus traffic updates with a look at that morning commute honey!!! VROOM VROOM! I’m going to miss the weekend show sooo much especially working alongside my precious Shanie poo. But this move is an opportunity I couldn’t pass up, and I hope you’ll get up EARLY and join us!"
Rucker joined KVUE in 2020 from WBTW Myrtle Beach, SC where she was a reporter/anchor.
She previously worked at KLBK and KAMC Lubbock as a reporter/fill-in anchor.
The Texas State University grad interned at KXAN Austin and worked for 89.9 KTSW.
