Gabby Hart joins FOX 26 KRIV

Gabby Hart has joined FOX 26 Houston as a general assignment reporter, announced station Vice President and News Director, Susan Schiller

Effective September 27th, she will report for various evening and weekend station newscasts.  

In making the announcement, Schiller stated, “Gabby will bring a new level of community reporting to our FOX 26 viewers, as she is committed to helping those whose concerns are often overlooked and ignored.” 

Most recently, Hart served as a General Assignment reporter for KSNV-TV in Las Vegas. 

Prior to that, she was a reporter and producer for WAPT-TV in Jackson, MS. 

Before that, Hart began her career in journalism as an intern and later an assignment editor at WEWS-TV in Cleveland, OH.  

A graduate of Cleveland State University, Hart holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.  

Hart added, “Being fair, accurate, and authentic in my reporting is my main priority as a journalist. I look forward to getting to know Houstonians and telling the stories that matter to them.”   

KRIV FOX 26 is part of the FOX Television Stations, which owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. 

These include stations located in nine of the top ten largest designated market areas (DMAs), and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). 

Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce nearly 1,000 hours of local news every week. 

These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.
