Audrey Castoreno, KENS 5 San Antonio morning anchor/reporter, proved she is willing to go the extra mile for the TEGNA station.
Why you ask?
She ate a scorpion on live television (skip to 1:36 in the above video).
"Because guacamole makes anything better...right," Castoreno asked during the report before the arachnid went into her mouth.
So how did the scorpion taste? Castoreno said it was good.
However, KENS 5 morning anchor Barry Davis did not seem convinced that Castoreno really enjoyed eating the scorpion, but admitted he might give it a try.
Castoreno did not sample the crickets that were also in the buggy dish, but did seem to legitimately enjoy the flan as a dessert.
