Briana Conner, the WXII Winston-Salem, North Carolina evening news anchor, is coming back to her hometown of Houston, TX and joining abc13 KTRK. (*updated with the channel 13 reporting job information)
Conner joined WXII in July 2015 where she worked her way up from morning breaking news anchor. In 2017, Conner was honored by the Winston-Salem Chamber with the Winston Under 40 Leadership Award.
Before North Carolina, Conner worked as a weekend anchor/reporter for WPSD Paducah, Kentucky.
She got her start in TV at KAVU Newscenter 25 in Victoria, TX as a weekend anchor/reporter.
Conner is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin.
Outside of television news, Conner also hosts the podcast "Unscripted With Briana Conner."
