Readers told me they haven't seen Hernandez on television in months. In addition, Hernandez's social media seemed to have stopped mentioning KTRK related posts around the same time.
Hernandez joined KTRK in 2018 from KENS 5 San Antonio where she was a traffic anchor.
The University of Texas at San Antonio grad started off at channel 13 as a morning consumer reporter. In 2019, she flipped schedules with Brhe Berry and moved to afternoons.
Hernandez also briefly hosted an online only late morning news program called The Midday.
Prior to San Antonio, Hernandez worked at Newscenter 25 KAVU Victoria as a morning anchor/producer until joining KENS 5 in 2015.
