Grandma update: she made her transition this morning. My heart is broken - but I find solace knowing I definitely gave her flowers while she could still smell them. 96 wonderful years of life. RIP Grandmother, thank you for everything💜👵🏽🤞🏾😇 pic.twitter.com/DSqTKzLdK7

KHOU 11 reporter Janel Forte has a twitter request concerning her beloved grandmother:
Alright prayer warriors, I need y’all bad. Today my grandma was one of a handful of patients at her nursing home who tested positive for COVID-19. If you know me, you know how much she means to me. They’re moving her to a new facility and say right now her symptoms are mild.
As Forte mentioned, if you follow her Twitter feed, you know how much her grandmother means to her.
