Faith Woodard joins KVEO Brownsville

Faith Woodard joins the Rio Grande Valley's KVEO as a weekday evening news anchor from WBOC 16 Salisbury, Md 



Weekend anchor/reporter Faith Woodard announces she's left WBOC 16 Salisbury, Md, "Delmarva's News Leader," and moving to Texas join KVEO Brownsville-Rio Grande Valley as a weekday evening anchor.

"God is good, I’m blessed and ready to hit the ground running," Woodard tweeted. "Thank you to my news directors for such an amazing opportunity."

Woodard joined WBOC in June 2018 as a reporter.

This was just after graduating from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism of May the same year.

While at Columbia, the Florida native served as the president of the Association of Black Journalists. She also interned at NBC Universal, USA Today and Starfish Media Group.

Woodard graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. with a bachelor's degree in English.

As an undergrad, Woodard was a four year starter and captain on the Georgetown Women’s Basketball Team.
